Boost LS Vtec?
Hey guys Im brand new to this site (obviously since this is my first thread) but I was refered here by a memeber of Tamparacing.com anyways, I am planning on building an LSVtec for my 91 Integra, anyways I already have that coming together and I was planning on going all motor because some of my friends told me that LS Vtecs that are boosted dont last that long, I did research on my own and concluded that they are just dumb because the motor didnt last long because it was a very low budget low quality junk yard build pretty much... for my LS Vtec build I am going to be using brand new EVERYTHING completley rebuilding the bottom end and purchasing a b16 head with less then 3000 miles on it, everything else will be brand new too, pistons, intake manifold, oil and water pump... everything... anyways i was wondering if boosting an LS VTEC is a good or bad idea, because just because the one my friend had blew up, that could have been because boosting a ls vtec isnt a good idea or because of the low quality build... so any input as to weather or not its a good idea.. please let me know thanks.
its a very good idea.... ls blocks handle boost very well... i have a b16 right now, but im waiting till i build a ls block then im boostin it, you should deff do the same
good luck
