Default civic si project first dyno session!

well we finally got the car to the dyno last night and we're pretty happy so far with the results being that the car still needs a electronic boost controller and an aftermarket ignition system (stock right now) . well to our surprise off the wastegate the car made 418 at 10psi and bump it up to 23 and made 564 but still needs some more work ...so we'll be back soon.

..hey darin thanks for staying late and helping us out last night!

sorry for the poor image ....i'll have a better one up soon

My god that's a lot of torque. That engine will have no problems pulling an 18-wheel freightliner.

Damn, its really amazing to see how different the power amounts can be of different setups with the same boost pressure. I've seen people running 20 lbs on setups and not even close to that much power

WOW... I have an almost identical setup in the making (waiting on the machine shop) minus the lovefab and my AEM but I'd be happy if I can put similar #'s down. What size is the TB? What injectors did you use? What C/R? Again...nice numbers.

john shold be down at moroso right now with Rolo but he didnt make it to the dyno that day. Rolo has done a great job tunning my car and giving me help putting the setup together.

we had some problems with the intercooler getting to hot. also if you look at the graph up top you can see that the torque went up but horsepower went down. we think it was because the car was smoking the tires bad on that pull but i could be wrong.

first of all, congrats on the numbers

Secondly, i cant see much of the dyno graph but from what i can see there is a huge dip in the curve somewhat early on, why is that?
