chipped p28 ???? wont rev past 4000rpm
i have a chipped p28 and it was working fine b4 and now i started it and it idles at 2000-2500rpms and it wont rev past 4000rpm's
i dont know wat the problem is. does anyone kno y or how this is happening or have had this happen and wat shout i do

Who did the chip job?Could be a bad chipping job or burn.Try reburning the map.Then try cutting the jumper and see if it still does it,but don't go into boost.What chassis is this in?If it's anything other then a vtec obd1 car make sure everything related is wired up right.
Also you do mean it wont go past 4k while driving right?Other wise it could be launch control on.

same thing happened to me and what it was the chip wasnt all the way in so try that it worked for me
