Default Chipped ECU INnstalled....and......help!!!!

Ok, I have just installed my DSM injectors, resistors, and chipped ECU, bought from Phearable already installed. Well, after installing it, i let the fuel pump prime, and started the car, took a sec to start.....to get fuel to rail, it started right up, and ran at 2K for about 30 secs. reved it up and down and it started to idle down right. I let it sit and idle for about 5 mins. I then test drove it around, and ran it at WOT, a bit richer than before it would have with factory injectors and ECU on a regualr A/F ratio gauge. I dont have a wideand.....but i'm guessing it's running pretty well right now.....BTW, i dont have the turbo installed yet, but did this to make turbo install day faster. People were saying it's ok to install before turbo install, and went through with this......it seems to be running right......any things i could check to kinda tell how it's running...amybe some odd sounds it could make to tell it's not running right or running right either way...and also some visuals.....thanks VERY much in advance!!!

i did the same, i rocked my Crome Program on my OBD1 p75, OBD2b-OBD1 jumper, Saturated 440cc's, to make sure they ran well before i went turbo too. My good friend had to make adjustments to get the car to run right on the 440's. it took a good amount of time, which would have made the turbo install even longer.

you're on the right track. just make sure you get it tuned right away. i made the mistake of not getting it tuned right away after the turbo, and found out that i was running pretty lean even with the Crome set to 440's and boost. luckily nothing bad happened, but u may or may not be as lucky.

oh yeah, keep an eye on your injector seals. mine were good for a week or two while i was NA, then started leaking very little by the time i started boosting. u wouldnt want your ride to catch on fire.

oh yeah, i installed my oil pressure and boost gauges before the turbo install too.

the vacuum reading is a good indicator of the health of your rings and idle mixture. oil pressure can inform u of clearances that are too wide, and worn bearings etc.

i suggest u install those before the turbo day too.
