Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?

Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?
Just installed an AFI Street Kit and went to fire it up and it starts for a brief second and dies. Also have a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. Def. will not idle, and does not like me giving it any gas with the pedal.
I am running a chipped PO5 with a basemap that was scaled for my injectors which are 650cc High-Z. Also have a walbro 255. I have to imagine it has something to do with my ECU or fuel correct?
Should I swap back to my stock injectors, stock ECU and leave the walbro 255 in just to see if it runs correctly? By the way this is a 98 Integra and everything was running great previous to this install....
Thanks for any help!

Yes. go completely back to stock on the ECU and Injectors to make sure that all leaks and other issues have been addressed. You'll need to go to completely tune for the AFI turbo kit. If driving to the tuner, disconnect an I/C pipe so that the system does not pressurize into positive boost. You will not overspin the turbo. Get the management and install the injectors at the tuner's location and tune from there. You're beyond "chipped" programs at this point.

So it is OK to run stock ECU and stock injectors with a walbro 255?
And do I even need to worry about hooking up vaccuum lines to the WG and BOV at this point? I had them hooked up and then removed them for troubleshooting. The WG was allowing me to suck air through the port on the side - I thought this would be air tight to keep a vaccuum for the rest of the system. I am using a vaccuum manifold that T's into the brake booster line (between intake mani and check valve) and then running the BOV and WG from that.
Besides that - thanks for the help. I was kicking myself and getting pretty PO'd when she didn't fire up and run. I will go back to stock and get it to the tuner!

it is your basemap.
like theshodan said put the stock injectors and ecu back in and run it. You will be fine to run it with the 255 just don't go out and boost on it, just start it up. Once you have done that then shut it off until you get a chance to get tuned.

Re: Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?
back in the day i've driven my car to the tuner on stock ecu and injectors.
I drove my car for several months on stock ecu and injectors becuase i had to wait for my dyno date. I just didn't boost it. It's not difficult at all. drive the car normal.

Re: Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?
Put the stock ECU and Injectors in and it runs like a dream - I did notice a few things though;
1.) My BOV is open at idle - guess I need a stronger spring?
2.) My 650 cc injectors were numbered 1-4, does it really matter what order they are in?
3.) I have a kill switch on the fuel pump, and I shut if off while the car was running (to relieve pressure) rough on the turbo ECU and injectors - and the car immediately ran good for the 15 seconds it took to die. I assume it relieved some pressure, therefore reduced the fuel flow confirming I am running rich?
I also think the MAP sensor I a biggy to look into - I have personally seen this before when I first built the engine and ran it stock.
Thanks again for everyone's help

Re: Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?
bov should be open at idle. well about half way. as long as it holds boost it should be fine.
injector order besides wiring doesnt matter.
and it sounds to me if you ran the stock ecu and it ran fine compared to the jumper harness and chipped ecu...then its the jumper harness.

Re: Installed Turbo Kit....Now Car Won't Run?
My tuner did not have another harness for me to try.....I made an appt for a tune next week and I guess I have to take a shot at it. I will drive it there stock, swap out the ECU/inj and let him look at it. Not sure where he will start if the car does not even idle?
