yeh I see where u guys are coming from. I just think if both cars are 133mph cars its possible for the civic to hang on the punch. thats the only thing i was trying to get at w/ the comparision. duh i know a vipers a v10 I guess the real question is if that civic could do 133mph traps? and if it can is it possible for it to get traction from a 3rd gear roll?

all I'm saying is if the viper is maiking 133mph trap kind of power it will move on the civic. if the civic has traction in 3rd the viper has double the traction in 3rd. they hook on a roll. we have tons we race here all the time. the ones I have raced all moved on me and i was running 245/50/16 nittos. thhats a lot more tire than on chz's car. I had to play catch up with all of them. that was at 500+whp. anyway, it was a good run regardless and i'll leave my opinion at that. i dont really want to argue or hate on someones car i really dont know. just giving my professional street racing opinion. see my title Street warrior!!!

I built the viper and the civic. The viper makes 570whp and 590 tq on motor. The viper was full in it. The viper makes about 1000whp on the 2 stage nitrous. The best the viper has run is a 10.76 @ 133 on motor and a 9,63 @ 150 on teh nitrous. Cary's car has only been to the track once, that was tonite and it was on regular street tires. We will have new vids after this weekend at the track. Im hoping for mid 10s at around 135-137mph on slicks.

says it all. Probably the cleanest turbo setup i have seen. The downpipe with the cutout is awesome.

the turbo
..........with open downpipe, mine DID sound cool.......until i got my exhaust
well atleast my car dosn't smell like **** anymore
that cheeseyfrog or whatever got the best of both worlds. stock quiet exhaust with the power of open downpipe at the flick of a switch.

any turbo will make that whistling noise if open dp, there's going to be nothing muffling down the sound, and if you have exhaust you can't really hear the turbo whistling at low rpm's but for sure you can here the sweet spooling sound..and in large turbo's like the ones supras use daily, it sounds like a big *** gush off wind!,...and daaym mang, nice run!

The viper driver's accent is great. Its nice to see a domestic owner who is open minded enough to really appreciate his opponents import car. Not everybody is like that. Its cool how the IR picks up the heat on the brake rotors.. looks neato.
agreed...pretty much all domestic owners on this board are

The brakes glowing is b/c the camera is on night vision (UV mode), right? Good run, cheezefrog.

Tell me if I am seeing and hearing things right. What I saw was the Civic get the intial jump and the Viper showed him top end before he got off the gas. It sounded like Cheezefrog got off the gas when the Viper was half a car ahead. I am i right or wrong here? because thats what I hear on my computer.
