Check valve setup?
I am in the transition from selling my J&S with map limiter and getting Hondata. It might take a few weeks to get the Hondata, so I will have to resort to check valves if I want to go boosting with my car. I have never used check valves on my car, what is the optimal setup? I am NOT paying $50 for a missing link, this is only a temp fix.

Is the above right?

yeah you will want to run a hose from the t/b (where the map sensor mounted) to the map sensor with check valves in between on a three way tee.i have 5 of them so i'd just start with 4-5 because they are cheap.($.49)
it kinda works, before i bought my missing link i had the little fish tank valves. in hot weather they would get stuck and cause my car to stutter, but if its only temporary it should work fine.

Ryan Earl's setup is the only way to go. I tried it, and it really works. in fact, it works better than the missing link that I have right now. no hestitation in boost, never had any check engine light.

well... it is actually pretty simple. you connect your first hose to the tb, and then fit a tee there so that the excess pressure can go straight on to the check valve, or take a 90 degree turn to the next hose. keep doing that for 3 more check valve, and link the 90 degree turn from the last tee to the map sensor.
wish there is an easier way to explain it. btw, if you look at the diagram, there are 2 places that the series of check valves links to; one on the tb, and one more above it. the one above it is connected to the map sensor.
