Default Check out my ARP head stud

Brand spank new from the box. After trying to torque the head down to 80lbs, it wouldn't click. At first I thought I had the dreaded stripped block, after taking off the head. I saw this...

I hope ARP gonna send me a new one..

The scheduled ARP bandwagon has just arrived and is now unloading passengers. Please double check for any left items before boarding the AEBS wagon.

No really, that sucks. That is unheard of from ARP. I hope mine don't do that. BTW how many uses were on the headstuds?

I talked to AEBS last month and they said they didn't make head studs for the B18b This post doesn't sway me away from using ARP head studs. Thousands of people have used them with no problems. I will be using them on my current build. ARP will take care of this problem.

they took care of the problem for me..
with as many fasteners as they seel, a few are bound to be bad.. i just got lucky .
i put the new studs in and everything is fine as far as head studs go..

Holy sh*t! Were the headstuds the reason for so many gasket changes? I would think so. I would be pissed. I hate doing headgaskets.

I never would have dreamed something that hard could do that with only 60 lbs of torque....
