Its a b20a so the sleeves will look completely different than any other bseries sleeves.

If you use copper o-rings, you must use a steel headgasket. You use steel o-rings with copper gaskets. It costs that much in parts to build a motor like this but since it is not a popular motor, you may be able to buy it cheaper from the guy. No one seems to be standing in line to buy this motor.
However, if this motor smokes or fails, what recourse do you have?

the motor has never been ran. it was fully built by gem so they should warranty it correct if it doesnt perform like it should or if i have problems with it. also he told me that gem quoted this block as bulletproof. he also told me that gem wont warranty it unless he uses a copper headgasket. does that sound right?
not to say any one is wrong but i use a stock gasket with a steel o-ring with no problem over 700+ hp. i have even made 700 with out a o-ring. not bashing anyone. thats just how i build them
Do you really think GE will help someone who did not pay them directly for the work? I don't know. Maybe you should call them and ask them...especially about the head gasket.

I guess it is just the same as stepping the steel sleeves above the deck while using a steel head gasket. I'm going to do a little research on steel o-ring applications.
