Default Check Engine Light on and Overheating...

Well I have a 99 Honda Civic Ex. It has a D16y8. I bought the Greddy 19t turbo kit. I have 2 issues with it and I want to fix them.

First problem is it is throwing a engine code saying Im running too rich. So I called greddy and they said it was because I needed a 02 sensor spacer so I did and spaced it as far as I could and it still threw the code. What could it be because I really want to get rid of that check engine light because its pointless to have a street legal turbo kit if I cant get it smogged.

Second problem is it overheats. I drive it for awhile and about 15 minutes the temperature starts to go up. But when I give it more gas it starts to drop. I did a head gasket test and there isnt a blown head gasket. I flushed the radiator lines and bleed them. I ran the car from cold with the radiator cap off to burp the lines. I wired the radiator to run always. I even bought a new thermostat. So what could it be? I am thinking I need a bigger radiator?

fixing a rich problem by taking the sensor out of the equation. wow. i have now heard it all.

part of your rich problem is the car is in open loop all the time from not being at opperating temperature.
