Default cheap/efficient intercooler

Now before anyone flames me..i Know you get what you pay for and I know of many good quality IC's that flow well and will support some good hp. Im just curious as to what is a good intercooler that is efficient, can support some pretty big numbers(hp) and can be had for a DECENT price(almost too much to ask for)
And i dont mean starion intercoolers and the like.(something that will support at least 300whp, or can starions handle it?) there is also a huge side mount from a supra TT but Im not sure of howmuch it can handle or where to mount the dang thing.

Blah, anyways....

I remember seeing a while ago--not on ht-- about people piecing together 2-3 stock sidemount eclipse intercoolers together. Ofcourse it would have to be a top-bottom flow ic.

I would suggest the starion. Im happy with the $52.99 spent on mine.

Yea, I guess I should have realized that, but thanks anyways for the correction?

I second the Starion core

howmuch power do you think the starion can handle.your pumping out a lot , is it still efficient? i dont know if i remember correctly(its been a while since i researched the starion) but can it handle a good amt of power?

Well, Im not putting out a lot of hp from my point of view. Using desktop racing calculators Im pushing around 260 -270 hp going by my 1/4 mile times.
As far as efficiency goes.....It seems to be efficient. At low boost, running off the Tial .45 bar spring it'll boost about a little over 6 psi---so not really losing much here. Cant tell up at high boost cause Im using a MBC. But when I drive around and boost pretty hard then get out and feel both endtanks, the TB side is always a lot cooler then the turbo side.
Hope this helps ya.
