A ceramic coating yes, but nothing like that. On a build with a lot of money in it I would say its well worthwhile for manifold dump pipe etc. Some people will argue against doing the pistons I think...
I had my old manifold and I/C piping coated in just there alloy type coating (lower heat rating) came out nice, ended up wrapping the manifold with good results seeing that the ceramic coating kept the water out of the steel. Still looks good after 3years and a front end collision.

If you have a plenty of extra money to laying around go for it. Otherwise their are more important things to purchase first before doing something as special as coating your pistons.
