Default CEL light for Vtec pressure switch comes on under boost

well, driving my car regularly I have no codes and the car runs perfect. But under hard acceleration and when boost kicks in, the check engine light comes on, and it's always code 22 (vtec pressure switch). I have a d16z6 w/ uberdata.....anyone else ever have this issue??

Same thing happened to me a while back, with my stock gsr motor. I was low on oil. . You sure it's not code 23? I could have sworn it was 23. Ohh well, that was over a year ago.
And BTW, I cracked a sleeve and all the ringlands the next day. I don't think it was related, but w/e.

your oil pressure may be low

are you running a restrictor in your oil line?

I am having the exact same problem.

I am running a restrictor in my oil aswell, which was made even smaller to hopefully fix the problem, and it still happens?

Bump for some more input on this issue.

I'd say low oil or messed up pickup. I get that code every now and then if I'm down 1/2 a quart and take this one particularly fun exit ramp at around 85. God Azenis are fun

Low oil wasn't the case as there was plenty. So you think it may be oil pump pick up?

You can try cleaning the ground for the oil pressure switch. that in some cases gets corroded and will make it do that.
