I checked my codes today (I have a perm code 13 due to afc hack setup, won't go away). Long behold I had 4 codes besides that, 71 72 73 74 which means misfiring in all four cylindars? What could be causing this? car doesn't seem funky at all...

FP set at 40psi with vac connected (have aem fpr)
rc 440cc saturated injectors, ngk 2 steps colder plugs about 15k old, still look good... (gapped at .030 been that way since I got turbo, no problems till just recently)
Afc hack setup -36% and -38% across the board hi and lo throttle....
Running stock ignition system, timing is set at 12-13degrees.
Don't see oil in coolant resovoir no signs of headgasket failure.. no smoke cept at WOT and its a little black smoke from running rich.


Any ideas? only thing I found on search was something about low fuel pressure could be causing misfiring....

Heres what my manual lists under those codes.

Ignition System
Fuel System
Map Sensor
EGR System
IAC Valve
Contaminated Fuel
Lack of Fuel

Or (It has two sets for some reason...top set says some (not all) of 71,72,73,74)

Fuel Injector
Fuel Injector Circuit
Ignition System
Low Compression
Valve Clearance

 

Make sure your fuel rail is tightened down enough that your injectors have a good seal.

last time I had a misfires codes, I blew my motor....not trying to scare you....

check your compression...

 

I worked on my friend's itr 2 mos. ago, and he had the same problem, same code. He had blown head gasket.
