I'd be worried about wrecknig it by torching it every time taht wastegate cracks open which it will alot. And the fact that it's raw exhaust gases comin outta there man, your engine bay will be filthy. No one needs that extra un-needed heat anyways nunder the hood

i dont really fell for this engine so i dont care if it will **** up.... (im getting a BTM6 too)

besides.... i cant go uberdata because i have a weird EDM ecu. and everything else is way expensive for me.....

about the dp...
later on ill close the pipe of the open wg and merge it with exhaust pipe.

a BTM doesn't really do much with the AFC hack method. As for ecu's, why not change ecu's to something else.

i wish i could swap my fUKing ecu to a "P28"... but its too complicated for me. if somone here can help me i will be more than happy....

this is my ECU diagram:
check out 1 & 2 pins on "A" connector.

is this a hard swap???

uhh buy the conversion harness, and plug the p28 up and go. theres conversion harnesses everywhere. plugs into where your ecu plugs in now and then you plug the ecu into that.

I would rather run an FMU than the hack.

Cheaper too.

I think they might be grouped like that because its batch fired injection - not sequential like we have here in the states.

Does your car use a 1 piece engine harness?

That zip tie isnt going to hold that screen over your turbo for long. You should put a melt hose clamp on there. Just my 0.2 cents

Whys everyone hating on the hack now? It was back back in the day, and alot more people liked it than using an fmu. I ran the hack on 10 lbs on a z6 for 1.5 years and it was fine. Props on your setup, let us know how it runs.

Yager-

I think J. Davis made a nice post about it.

Essentially it advances your timing alot right on the tip in of boost.
