Cause of scratching of all four cyliders?? help!!
Scenario: boosted 97 accord w/ f22b2, 14b turbo boosting 7psi for about a year now, tuned with afc hack and dsm 450's with a wideband. Yesterday it started to run and idle funny, compression test was 65, 200, 200, 200. Put gear lube in the first cylinder and compression raise to 165. I concluded the rings were bad on that cylinder.
Today I pulled the head to find that all four cylinders were very polished looking and had some good amounts of even virtical scratches. The middle cylinders had scratches at the top that you could catch a finger nail on.
What could have caused these scratches,( detonation, bad gas, ignition recurve, etc)???? Would a hone and re-ring be good enough. Please help.

well if you can get your finger caught in it,, thiers something going on thier,, ie trash in the motor or no air filter sucking in sand, or the piston to wall clearance is not enough,,, or maybe you have a lean issue,,, remeber the the wideband isnt always correct.
