Default Catch can/sensor question with pic

Putting the fittings in the back of my block on a b18b, and ran in to this sensor that I cant find any info on. what is it? and can I remove it to put my fitting there? Sorry for the crappy pic.

one sensor is the oil pressure swich and the other is the fan swich.. unless your set up is really aggresive you should put your fitting in the valve cover

Its a oil temp switch for your fan. When you turn your car off and the fan continues to run i believe that is the sensor that makes it do that. Im not 100% sure but im pretty sure. As for putting your catch can line there, I would try and get 2 ports welded on the front of your valve cover, due to the fact that you will probably have your catch can overflow with the ports on the back of the block.

Alright, so ill take it out and run the block fitting. I have my fan hooked up differently anyway. The way the can will be hooked up it'll have a drain back, so Im not worried about it filling up. Really some time in the somewhat near future id like to get a can with 4 fittings so I can run the block and valve cover. I couldn't imagine running just the valve cover is as good as the venting the block, but I'm not a pcv valve expert either. I just don't want the **** to smoke. Nothing makes you feel like your driving a pos like a car that smokes.
