Default Catch can question

About to do my catch can set up. I've been doing a lot of reading on here, lots of good information. I have a couple of questions though. I want to keep my set up as simple as possible and don't really want to mess with pulling off the stock pcv system, and running lines from the back of the block, etc. I have a sealed greedy catch can which I want to modify and put a breather and put 2 more ports on it. I just want to run two lines off the front of the valve cover, one from the stock port on the valve cover, and one from the PCV valve, all lines going to on open breather system. I want to make sure this will be ok, as there will be no vaccum sources pulling any vapors out. I don't think it will matter to much as there will be pleanty of places for the vapors and pressure to escape. I'm also planning on manually draining the can, is there any reason to add baffling to it? Thanks for any pointers.

make sure it's vented well, you're just making an open breather system

IMO the greddy can had two problems. the stock ports are too small and the can itself is too small. it will probably fill up really qucikly. how will you drain it? are you going to add a drain on the bottom? sounds like more trouble than its worth to modify the greddy can.

if you want to keep it simple. remove the stock pcv and black box and grab the b&r fittings valve cover kit. two lines off the vc and you are done. should be plenty for your setup.
