quick confirmation on catch can system

quick confirmation on catch can system
can i run one line from the back of the block and one line from the head? is this sufficient? also do i still need a pcv valve or can i throw the whole system out. (350hp ls)

run one line from the block through the pcv valve into a catch can, the other from rocker cover to the catch can, and have a breather on the top of the catch can itself

is there a diagram for this cause iam confused on how this works
i a have a gsr do i just throw out that rectangle thing that sits under the im and run those lines to the catch can
