a quality built stainless tubular shouldn't crack. if it does, it must either:
(a). be constructed out of a poor quality steel.
(b.) the quality of the welds are poor.
(c.) poor design, insufficient material thickness in essential locations like wastegate flanges.
(d) the manifold suffered some physical trauma i.e. crash or extreme heat.
(e.) its from ebay

what im getting at is dont brand all tubular manifolds as weak and prone to cracking, try a higher end tubular manifold, a lot more expensive, but with much better design and construction materials. or you could go cast. cast manifolds are capable of pushing plenty of power (whats your power/performance goals?) but the casting process is a lil more limited as far as design goes. look around and do some research on what you want from your next manifold, and take into consideration durability as a selling point.

I've had plenty of tubular manifolds and don't crack. Look around and search for the right stuff.

I'm willing to bet your bad experience with tubular manifolds is a direct result of ebay/OBX..

If you are set on a cast manifold, get an InlinePro manifold. Hands down the best cast manifold available on the market.

Inlinepro all the way for a cast manifold! And through my experience with tubular manifolds

they all will crack. It just may take many, many years but it will one day especially if you

daily drive your car. Maybe with the materials available more recently they will be more

reliable and last much longer. It has been awhile since I have researched material for

manifolds so I can't say much.
