most reliable equal length runner manifold under 500?
Is there even such a thing? The only stainless ones ive seen for that price have been said to crack by people on this site....are there any good manifolds around that cost range that are reliable?

Re: most reliable equal length runner manifold under 500? (eg2turbo)
problems with equal lenght is again, cracking, even if they tube are thick, the weld can crack easily under pressure...not too mention the design, trying to fit that much runner under tight space requires a tight angle, again, putting more weight on the turn of the angle...
my suggestion, if you want equal lenght runner, move your budget up to at least 1000. log style makes power as well, depending on your goal, if your goal is 400 hp ish, it can be easily achieved with drag, rev hard or inline pro manifold...
I'd rather not purchase a equal length manifold for 500, knowing quality and material quality is prolly not up there....
look up full race, now, that;s a manifold

Re: most reliable equal length runner manifold under 500? (Flamenco-T)
thanks or the info....I have a revhard log style manifold at the moment, and I spose I'll just have to stick with that. I cant quite fit the extra 500 into my budget at the moment. My goal is eventually 475+ because I'd like to get low 11's out of the car...I have a long list of other things to upgrade as well, so I spose all in due time.

Re: most reliable equal length runner manifold under 500? (Arturbo)
You will get the horsepower with the rev-hard. Stick with it.
just keep in mind, spend at least 1000 for a solid quality manifold....not like the turbo performance crap..

$500 for an equal length manifold is a bit low. the log/cast style manifolds also work well. plenty good for 11 second time-slips depending on set-up.
equal lengths along with log/cast style manifolds can all crack. i bet even geoff's. it's not the actual tubing that usually cracks, mostly it's the welds. no matter how great the welds, they fail.
stick with the rev-hard for now.

super-t also has got some damn good prices for the material and quality work he does!
his top of the line long runner equal length in 321 is just under 850 I believe.
revhard, super-t, lovefab, and inline pro all get a from me for your situation.
