Re: CARB Legal? JRSC? (B-18C1)
JRSC: Yes
Greddy Turbo Kit: Yes
DRAG Turbo Kit: No
Rev Hard Turbo Kit: No
F-MAX Turbo Kit: No
While we're on this subject, does anyone know if CARB exemption applies to any other state besides CA? Actually my question should be, do other states other than CA use visual inspection as part of the emissions test?
I only ask out of curiosity becausee have never had a customer, in or outside of CA, call us to tell us they didn't pass smog with their turbo kits. We have had numerous customers tell us they passed with fly colors though.

Re: CARB Legal? JRSC? (ben@importparts.com)
As far as I know in Pennsylvania we don't have visual inspection as part of the emissions test. I passed my jdm zc with no problems. I am pretty sure that the CARB thing really only applies to california hence the acronym stands for California Air Resource Board or something like that. But having a carb number for your parts in other states will keep you legal with the police. I have been pulled over and the police were trying to find something to ticket me for but they couldn't since I have a carb legal i/e....my header isn't but they didn't see that. So the carb numbers do help.
