Car wont start, pls help.
My turbo install is finished and I just tried to start my car, but it wont start. I have in some DSM 450 injectors, but i had them in before the turbo and the car started and ran fine. Now the car the cranks and kind of begind to start, but then doesn't. What could be wrong? Should I try putting in the stock injectors? If those work, then what should I do about running way too lean with them in?

It should start even with the O2 unplugged. Is it possible that you fouled the plugs? What exactly are you using to control all that fuel?

Yes it cranks, and occasionally almost starts. It's as if the car is out of gas, but I'm sure its not, its near E though. I'm not using anyting to control their flow yet, I'm getting a FPR tomorrow. It started fine before I began my turbo install, when I drove to school for one day with them in with no fuel control devices, but now the car won't start. It just cranks and sputters like its gonna start. Do I need to put on a FPR before it will start? How do I know if I have fouled the plugs? Any ideas?

did you install a new fuel pump? if so then it's quite possible that your fuel pressure has increased and that's why you can't start.. get the FPR and a GAUGE and reduce your fuel pressure and then try to start the car...

Nah I kept the stock pump. I checked my plugs though and they were mad black from running too rich, and slightly wet (with gasoline?). So I went and bought some new HGK plugs and put them in. The stock injectors are back in now too so I can see if those two were the problem. Some fuel leaked out though so I'm waiting for it to dry before I try starting again. Any other ideas on what could be wrong in case it doesnt start?

Check for spark. Pull out one of the plugs and put a long screw driver into it. Have someone crank it while you put the screw driver near a ground, about 1/4 inch away. See if a spark jumps.
If so, check for fuel. Unscrew the banjo bolt on top of the fuel filter. Then turn the key 2 times and see if fuel comes out.

Ahh the irony. I got it to start finally and let it idle for a while... then I heard a trickle... so I get out to see how bad the oil lines are leaking...well like 3 quarts dumped out in the 30 seconds I had it on. Im draining the remaining oil right now to inspect the problem.

oil as in engine oil or fuel?
If you are running 450 cc injectors with stock everything you will definitely be very very rich and foul out your spark plugs.
If you don't have a resistor box for those 450ccs then stop cranking because you'll damage your ECU

It was motor oil.. as in 5W-30. I have stock injectors in right now, the leak was from my oil outlet tubing beaing broken, which I fixed with stronger lines. I have to go get some more oil and start it back up and then check the return line, since oil never reached it I don't know if it is leaking also. Anyway, with stock injectors and stock fuel compenents in, is it ok to drive my car very cautiously and slowly to school and back for around a week until I get my FMU?
