i just got my car tuned and i made 350whp on a stock gsr with a bwr kit. after the dyno session the engine had a knock, so i took it to a local shop and they told me that its a wrist pin. i drove the car home and was trying to find out which cylinder was causing the knock before i tear her down for the rebuild, so i start the car, then i took out the #4 spark plug wire and reved it alil bit knock didnt go away, so i put the spark plug wire back into #4. then i did the same thing to cylinder #3 and then the car died. so i put the plug wire back and tried to start the car again but now it wont start. its cranking but doesnt turn over. anyone got any ideas?

 

If the motor is knocking who cares why it will not start. Fix the knock and then deal with it.

 

i care because i need to drive it to the shop. ideas why it wont start anyone?

 

why would you take a plug wire off and rev it. that will solve nothing. if it knocks taking a plug wire off for surly isnt the problem. and its most likely your dizzy why it wont start now.... since you took that wire off while the car was running you most likely fried a sensor in the dizzy. you shouldnt do that when running. causes firing to miss and what not.
