i dnt know ...i guess it wasnt ment to be boosted....cuz we had the same setup on my bros civic and it boosted hard...on 12 psi ...till he blew it up racing an sit lol (from a roll)

no **** wow, that sucks, ya my cam gear just snapped my cam on my turbo D. Everytime somethin is fixed somethin breaks. its just a rule like jason said.

If you contact tial, they will tell you the same thing. it should only see boost. so a line either at the turbo its self or the charge piping should be plumbed.

 

Yea, if your not prepared to fix crap as it breaks then just stop now cause you have no idea what your getting into to. hell once you start getting up into the 250-300 you have to worry about brakes, tires, suspension, axles, etc, etc, etc. all the things on the car were designed for the original 100hp or whatever and the more power you put to the ground the more of that other crap breaks. as for the boost problem I dont know if you really understood about the ring. you need to put the spring back in and take the wastegate off of the manifold. when it is off look at the bottom where the valve is and see if there is a place for a small ring. when you put it on it basicly wont sit flush with the manifold cause of the ring and as you tighten it down it pushes the valve up and creates a seal untill the rated spring gives. just upload your pics to photobucket and use the url's in the post section.

nothing its all the same setup exept that the one in the pic is a y8 and the other on is a y7

 

if its not seeing boost its gotta be ur wastegate

WASTEGATE!!! ALL IM SAYING AGAIN! its that ring inside or.... wait WHY IN THE HELL DO U NOT HAVE A SPRING IN THERE??? LOL!! Lmao! that is what the wastegate works off... without it, it just stays open and lets all the exhaust out soo NO boost! see
