I have a turbo b16 that will start will my foot on the gas it will not idle. When i do start it with my foot on the gas it will spit and spudder and only rev to 2500-3000 rpms and imitate launch control and spit flames out. Ive cleaned the iacv, Adjusted the tps , looked at the distributer wires and they look ok. i am running s300. the first time i started it today i had a code 8 error code which in s300 is TDC sensor but it went away withen a min or 2. so any suggestions would be awesome thanks.

 

We need to know as much information possible about your set up..

 

Its a b16 block with eagle rods cp 10:1 pistons. Fully built ctr head from toda valvatrain to feirra valves, itr cams . s300 non tuned ctr distributor , aem fuel rail , with a 6786. Stock injectors and pump just so I could start it at the time.

 

And it had a ls VTEC when I got it with a spun rod bearing and it ran an idled fine.

 

There's your problem. You have a moderately modified engine, and you expect it to run on a stock basemap. It doesn't work that way.

Sputtering, poor revving, and "flames" coming out of your exhaust means you have a **** tune. Get it done professionally.

 

agree with notaracist install the proper injectors and than remap the S300.

i think S300 has turbo maps, so choose turbo maps, enter injector size and than set fuel and ignition using the knock sensor and a wideband lambda.
