Default car stalls when slowing down

The car is a 00 Civic si turbo with 9 to 1 CR. The car stalls every now and then when you slow down, push the clutch in and cruise to a stop. I have tried everything to try and stop it but it still happens. It happened enough that the starter eventually went from restarting the car all the time.

Im wondering if i can adjust the throttle cable to raise the idle and stop the car from dying. I figured the lower compression might be causing it and the idle needs to raised a few hundred RPM. The thing is that some cars dont like this way of raising the idle due to the TPS. Im not too familiar with Hondas and how you guys raise the idle without having a standalone.

Ideas are appreciated.

blue box, walbro in tank, AEM FPR

We are waiting on either a Hondata or AEM standalone.

do you think you might be running rich? does it stay running if you give it gas when you stop?

yeah, if you blip the throttle it will stay running. It dies if you let out the clutch when slowing down and the revs drop suddenly and it doesnt happen all the time. Its really annoying that i cant figure this out.

Mine does the same thing heh, i've just learned to heal toe for now, pretty damn good at it!

Actually tho I always thought i was running rich but taking out fuel didn't help much so maybe its my TPS. ?

I have roughly the same setup, and my car has similar problems whenever my plugs become fouled. It also doesn't want to start sometimes. But as soon as I change the plugs, it runs like it should.

You could try reseting the idle. If that doesn't work try adjusting the TPS. If you never get the .45v at closed throttle the ecu won't cut fuel and it'll want to stall coming to a stop.

The plugs are brand new as well.
