i was out driving my car today,stop at my mates and when out to start my car and it was blowing smoke out of where the oil breather thing is,and idle a bit funny,and blowing a bit of white smoke.pretty sure its not a head gasket could be wrong.any ideas what this could be.it still runs and boosts ok.i have no idea plz help>

 

ring lands, or valve seals, when mine did that it was the valve seals, the machine shop put the in backwards, ever since I did all work myself.

 

how do i tell which one it is.

 

compression test, or leak down test. I dont know the details though.
or you can look into a rebuild

ammmm... Didn't someone show you and help you to change your valve seals?

 

no! I might get help from a punk *** friend but no one show me, I dont dont trust any so called professional because not all of them are professionals, they just have degrees, no skills. especially in Germany thats why I do everything my self
