Car overheats with a/c running
I know turbo hondas run more heat, maybe somebody else had this and knows how to fix it..
Already replaced thermostat and radiator cap. condensor fan blades are somewhat melted but still spin air, both fans are still coming on, no coolant loss. only happens in hot weather (90 degress and up), gauge will start to climb towards middle, i turn the a/c off, and rightaway it goes back to normal. 91k on stock radiator, waterpump ~20k miles and coolant is somewhat new as i had to replace thermostat.

Re: Car overheats with a/c running (vtec.dc2)
A couple months ago, I did a comparison between oem fan, Proform slimfan, and Mr. Gasket slimfan. I did all the tests with ac on, no condensor fan, hwy. driving, street driving, and in a 90+ degree weather. All the fans did very good on hwy. driving. On street driving, the Proform slimfan did terrible. My temperature gauge needle started to climb. In my conclusion, some slimfans did better than the other. IMO, the efficiency of the radiator fan(primary fan) is very important with ac running.

i think you right about it, and all of aspects matter, i tried to disconnet the a/c condensor fan thininking possibly melted wiring might have caused this problem, but it ended up overheating even faster. so i'll try to repair the condensor fan blades and see if that going to help any
