Default car overheating while boosting, wtf

i have a fully built d16y8 with a t3t4 and i just got it back from my tuner today. so im driving it and everything is fine and the car is running smooth, until i boost. the turbo starts making boost around 3500rpm and when it does, my temperature guage shoots up and when i let of, the temperature climbs back down to normal. I have a fluidyne radiator and the coolant is full, the thermostat opens up fine, and the water pump works fine too. No leaks anywhere also. My guess is that since im making around 300whp now, its creating a lot more heat while boosting and i need a bigger radiator thats just my guess, what do you guys think?

You need to make sure they havent come loose. Torque them to ARPs specs not stock specs. Do people even read that bright pink paper that comes with ARPs?

when i first read the post i thought, head lifting or headgasket and was going to ask if you had the arp headstuds and/or headgsket replaced. but since you did. honestly those are the only two i can think of.....

oh ya, bleed your coolant. there might be air bubbles in there. that's the only thing i can think of. hope that helped.

Where is you wastegate dumping to? If it's dumping towards the radiator, that could be your problem.

I'm having a similar problem with my setup. I've tried everything suggested and more. The only thing that helped me was getting more fresh air to my radiator. Until I did that nothing would help the overheating. Now I just need to figure out how to stop it from overheating on the highway. At 5000rpm's she still runs to hot. But it's getting better. Also try waterwetter and maybe a 70/30 water/coolant mixture. Good luck!!

Thanks for the good advice so far guys, keep em coming.

****, who knows, your running a little lean, causing the heat? or to much timing etc?

Since you said, you just had it retuned.

Goodluck.
