Okay..here's the story, about two weeks ago, i left my lights on and my battery died. We jumped it.. my car was able to start and restart ever since. Now, Since i got my new Crane ignition, it seem like it was having trouble starting..day after day, the cranking got worse..its was harder and harder..then finally..yesterday it quit.. i tried to replace the battery this morning, but no luck.. i think now, that it's the starter.. could it be? help me out guys..

 

Does your radio and other electrical components come on? Do you hear a clicking sound but it doesn't turn over when you try to start it? That would be a bad starter. Sometimes you can get it to catch by hitting it with something blunt, otherwise a rebuilt one is like 80 bux I think and shouldn't be too hard to replace.

 

try to roll-start it. have a friend push the car while you put it in first gear with the clutch down.. and when you get a decent roll pop the clutch. see if the car starts.

 

Hey guys, well, everything in the car turns on, and when we roll start.. the engine trys to turn on.. i went down to the auto store today, and they check my starter.. they said it worked, but they dont know for sure if its strong enough to start my motor.. ne ways.. i bought a new one ne ways.. and i'm gonna try and see whats up..
