Ok I needc to know if i have a serious problem or not i have only run all motor cars before and dont know much about turbos, i finished installing everything except the down pipe because i need to drive it to work to fab the downpipe but when i am driving it i can hear the turbo spool but cant feel any power, aside from normal also there is no blow off valve sound when i let off the gas making me think im not getting any boost do i just need my downpipe on for back pressure or could there be anything else wrong with the setup it is an ls vtec btw i dont know if i may have a terrible boost leak or what because all my intercoolor clamps are maxed out tightened, any input would be grately appreciated

 

Take pictures. Your problem could be hundreds of things and guessing is going to take forever. Have someone look at it or post some good pictures and give us a idea of what your working with.

 

my guess it is a 5 bolt flange, and has the wastegate hole wide open. or the fire ring was left out of the wastegate.

these are just guesses w/o seeing the setup.

 

it could be the wastegate hole off the hot side because it is a five bolt so this could cause that problem i am tryin to get pics up. thanks for your input

 

if thats the case, then yes the wastegate port is wide open. you need to bolt up the dp flange, or better yet, dont drive it till the dp is done.
