car on jack stands ... quick question
alrite .. so i'm doing my turbo install. i have 2 oil pans.. i took off my exhaust mani and put up my turbo mani and downpipe and tapped the oil pan that is off my car.
my tuner gave me my socketed p28 ecu back yesterday and it has an uberdata basemap.
i'm going to be using dsm injectors.
anyway heres my question: right now i do not have 92 octane in my car, i only have 87(about a quarter of a tank). i dont feel like putting back on my old manifold just to run and get gas.
so can i complete my install tomorrow after my oil pan dries and then run to the gas station and fill her up w/ 92?
if so .. should i keep my stock 97 ex ecu and injectors .. or can i install my dsms and the p28 ecu and do it as well??
i just dont want to blow my engine, i'm a noob but i feel like if i keep my stock injectors and ecu and dont hit boost then i will be alrite to drive to the gas station.
what should i do??
