Default Car boggs and backfire at high boost!!!

Right now I am running the blue box and injectors, and in high boost 8-10 psi the cars starts to backfire, bogg, and loose power, should I siwtch to fmu with missing link, I have this as well would it run better? I all so have a walbro fuel allready installed. If I do go with FMU do I need to adjuster dist. to retard timing? if so don't I turn the dist clockwise for retard?

You maybe exceeding the limits of your MAP sensor. Try running 7-9 psi and see if it happens

YOU ARE RUNNING LEAN I just had the same experience on my LS. I thought it was the map sensor or injectors, but after switching map with another and adjusting tps voltage, I had the same problem. The problem was I ran my car with a basemap because I was procrastanating on tuning, well... I finally hooked up the wideband, and right before it popped/backfired, I was at 17 -18:1.... LEAN!!!! Tuned the car and it feels like a dream. Anyway, 99% that's your problem... ps, get some real engine management!!!

greddy blue box run at a set psi(6-7) and you can not go past that. I bet if you turn down the boost to 7 psi it would run good......Soichiro Garage 7
