ive tried that. but it IS supposed to spin right?
Im not talking about the compressor side. That came off no problem. Im talking the exhaust housing side. I took off the four bolts and the was this kinda split (in two) ring washer thing. that side IS supposed to turn?
thanks BTW

hmmm. where would this down pin be if there is one on my IHI RHB5? I went ahead and sprayed it down with PB and let it sit overnight. We'll see if it spins or not.
I kinda did a bone head thing and broke off one of the water inlet lines but I think theres enuff trheads to fix it or I just wont use it...
What has everyone done to clock there turbos. ANy tips to make it easy? THanks

If it's been on there for a while, you're not going to be able to move it. I had the same issue with mine.
Remove the whole thing and take it to your welder or just heat it up yourself. You need a crapload of heat (mine was glowing) to make it move. A small knock with the hammer after it's been heated will make it come off.
Solution for future > get it HPC coated while it's off.
