Default Cant boost over 6psi

Hey guys,
I have a t25 setup on a y8. Ive been pushing 10.5 psi for awhile now (3 or so months). Recently, I had a charge pipe blow out. I reclamped it and now can only boost to 6. Im pretty sure its the piping, but I was wondering if anything else could be the problem?
Thanks,
Nick

probably still have a boost leak. Check the wastegate line.

Well, I took off the filter on the turbo, and i checked the shaft play. It was fine, but there was a little oil there. Blown seals? I doubt it though because I havent seen any smoke...have smelt an oil burning smell though...any insight?

same thing happened to me. I was boosting 10 then couldn't go over 5. everyone told me check the piping and couplers and make sure everything is tight. my suggestion is to take everything off and inspect it closely. Don't just look at it while it is in the engine bay or on the car. Take off all the piping and couplers and inspect them for a tiny rip or anything. My leak was on a coupler that had a slight rip in it I couldnt see until I took it off.

I would also check to make sure the turbo is getting enough air... I mean, check the turbo filter, if it's clogged it would affect your boost...

Is your wastegate opening up at 6psi or can you just not build boost past that?

Maybe try driving the car without a filter down the street or something and see if that helps...
