Default can someone learn me on upgrading turbo internals/housings..

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to turbo sizes and what most of the numbers/trims/wheels mean. Whenever I try doing some research I always get lost in a sea of numbers and jargon that I'm not too savvy on.

I sometimes see guys in forced induction forums guys upgrading the housings, and internals on their turbo's to get a bit more out of them.

Can any suggestions be made to make my 18G a better unit? in the HP/PSI department?

Since Honda setups are aftermarket and the turbos are all standard flanges, we don't need to mess with upgrading wheels/housings/clipping wheels, etc...instead, sell the turbo you have and buy a different variant.

PureTurbos also sells upgraded compressor wheels for a lot of turbos. They might sell a new billet compressor wheel upgrade...PM them and find out.

i know you probably can't answer down to specific numbers, but what sort of differences can be expected by switching to a billet wheel?

Nothing. All depends upon the design, material make up of the wheel ( all "billet" is not the same) and what turbine wheel is matched to it. Question can't really be answered

so really, i'd be pissing $250 in the wind. i think i've finally come to terms with waiting for better employment to come my way and getting a mini ram along with a better turbo instead of trying to cut all these corners.
