I'm not sure how much the EMUSA cost but an entry level Precision would be a good choice if the price is comparable.

The EMUSA will do the trick but if we're taking just a few hundred bucks difference then I'd say upgrade to a Precision.

to be honest I cant afford the precision that's why I mention the emusa i'm on training and it's the most I can afford atm so is it worth getting or should I just wait and save for a precision or another high end one

Holy crap. You would trust a $140 turbo on your engine? Apparently 42 other idiots did too.

How much is the EMUSA? I think an entry level Precision is about $600 I don't think the EMUSA is horrible but I also don't like taking risks on something and having to purchaseoparts twice.

I just clicked your link. Yeah I'd rather save for a Precision but the EMUSA will work but it's not the best. There are people that bitch about Precision as well but it does come down to maintenance as well.

I have a ching chong turbo , lasted for years never blew up per say.
Smokes alot not though, 7 years maybe 20k miles.
That's the difference from good and ebay turbos, longevity.

mechanix619 respect bro

No problem. Good luck with your build.

Keep in mind, you are set with 300whp now but I'm sure that will change once you "get used" to that power level. Always plan ahead.

Same old story.

OP asks if ebay turbo is any good. Everyone explains that they won't last as long, and in some cases catastrophic failure is possible. OP decides to buy ebay turbo anyway.

Why do we have stickies again?

They don't want answers. They just want someone to say it's okay. They already made up their minds on the outcome. Time wasters.

Spend the money and have it sent off to percision or turbochargers.com, where they can rebalance, and reseal the turbo and make sure that everything that can be replaced with good quality parts is..

ebay turbos out the box are hit or miss.. either way, treat it as such.
