Well if your gona spend the money getting that kit you might as well use the sandwitch adapter and get your oil form there instead of spending money for something that your not going to need.
But thats just my 0.2 cents on the whole thing...

Like I said in the PM, it would be ok but i would rather just run it off of the back of the block because the amount of oil coming from there is perfect for the turbo... with gettting the oil from the filter you might just have a little bit too much oil coming out of there and cause is you to not be able to return the oil to the pan fast enough becuase graviti is the only thing that is pulling the oil down. In the long run it would probably cause your exhaust seal to go out agian..
But I might also be wrong on this whole thing...

i don't know if i would do it or not...what you'll have to do is run the big line to the cooler and then a -3 from the cooler to your turbo...might work, but it will take a while before the turbo gets much oil

In think that it would work but, will it still have the psi for the turbo. Not only that but, the turbo is cheaper than the engine. It seems that the engine is the one doin' all the work..

i would still run the oil cooler back to the motor. i would just tee off the cooler line right by the oil filter

When is an oil cooler effective? I was under the impression it's better for oil to be a little bit hot (not too hot if you know what I mean) than a little bit too cold. Can someone please elaborate on this.

Re: can i tap off the oil cooler line for the oil line for my turbo (EFrollingout)
i tought that oil systems have a bypass valve to send just an amount of pressure to the filter and redirect some oil back in the engine if the pressure was greater, but i can't remember what pressure was it.
I would make sure first that the line has enough pressure.
If you have enough pressure it sounds like it would work really good and maybe it would make the turbo last a lil longer
