Default Can I install a SC on a high Compression Engine?

Built LS/Vtec with 12:1 pistons Skunk Stage II cams. Can I install a JRSC? Since I know you are going to say NO, please explain why...

Thanks!

what engine management? High c/r and boost will give you detonation, unless you pull out some big timing or run detonation fightight fuel aka C-16
Will it be worth it? That's up to you.

I Just got my motor built with raised compression (aprox. 11.0:1) and 12 psi of boost with Hondata. All internals are done as well as the head, port, valves, etc. And I am not putting out the #s I expected (208 hp-148 tq). I just got an msd ignition hopefully this will solve some of my problem if not next step is lowering boost, then nitrous.

keep in mind that the higher the c/r the more precise the tuning will have to be, you can easily run 50% more power than that if you have lower c/r and more boost/timing.

That's what I'm thinking now. After I try a couple of more thing I might be lowering it.

the problem with adding a super charger to a high compression motor is air temps. high air temps are a problem with the JRSC to begin with let alone trying to keep the motor from detonating combined with that high compression. if you could find a way to keep the temps down such as the intercoolers that have been developed by some you could do it but you may be limited to the amount of boost you can run. bumping compression like that with an FI motor minimizes the window for tuning error a great deal. Anything "can" be done its more a question of reliability and is it worth it.
