Okay here is the deal guys....I have a guy buying my turbo, manifold, downpipe and wastegate. I want to put my stock manifold on and let all the charge piping and intercooler in place and then weld the oil pan shut. So my questions is will the car be okay to run with the stock exhaust manifold for a short distance?? Will i need to take off any of the fuel management?? Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thanks

just put a filter on the charge pipe...I assume you use a fuel pressure riser for fuel management, so that only does something when faced with boost, so you're good there. I wouldn't weld the pan shut, but rather put a plug in the drain line or something. I assume you're leaving the piping so it can be turbo'd again later.

 

Don't forget to plug the oil feed line also..its obvious but heck I sometimes forget thing that are obvious.

 

Any suggestions what I should plug the oil line with??? Also should I just disconnect the part of the piping that goes to the intercooler and run a filter?
