how do i adjust boost
If your motor is stock, I wouldn't run more than 6 because that motor has high compression. You need to get a boost controller to control your boost, and if you dont have one, you definitely need a boost gauge. You should get an oil pressure gauge, and an air/fuel gauge just for insurance. As far as a boost controller, you could get a manual one which consists of a ball and spring valve, or you could get a costly electronic controller. I got my boost cotroller off Ebay for $17.
Build a manual boost controoler for $6.00

Yeah try that out....and you'll be fine in 8psi range if you tune it completely...air/fuel...timing etc.....and you have your intercooler so you won't detonate correct..with lower charged air?...I would assume that's why you have the intercooler....Greddy GSR kit with Intercooler raises boost to 8psi....chill and you'll be fine...tune tune tune...boost boost boost. Get a boost gauge as well so you can get it right on the dot...Somebody used this I remember a couple weeks ago and said the boost held perfectly.

This is comming from someone who owns a Greddy kit and blew his first motor. You don't need a fuel pump, but if you plan to raise the boost past the 5psi spring then you want to get a boost controller and gauges. Also the blue box only controls fuel the ignition is still the same. You might either want to retard the timing 2-5 degrees or get yourself a MSD BTM. If you don't you stand the risk of blowing your motor. It will be your ring lands that go first.
