Default Cams....which are you using/what do you prefer?

Currently i am looking for a new set of cams for my stock motor turbo GSR. I'm going to be in the 325whp range once my exhaust is done and i get tuned. I'm looking for a very streetable cam...much like the ITRs.

Does anyone have any dyno graphs of any of these cams or experience with them? I'm leaning towards one already based on the expert advice of a close friend, but i want to know who else has used these cams.

I run CTR's. So far they are by far the best bang for the buck cam out there if you ask me. Plus they have the reliability of OEM hardware.

The rest of my head is complimented with Manley hardware and valves.

Mazworx cams are probably a little bit overkill for me, not to mention the price...

I swapped out my GSRs for CTRs and picked up 9 whp. But I like them better. On the graph I gained more area under the curve and decreased spool time by about 500 rpm. This is on an otherwise internally stock GSR with SC34 creeping between 8 and 9 psi. I think the difference between the CTRs and GSRs would become more pronounced as boost increases.

well i am hoping to find either 00-01 ITR or CTR cams and just swap them with stock cam gears...i know i'll see a gain, but it may not be as pronounced as it would be if i got the gears and dialed them in a little better....

still looking for a set though.....

We have used Skunk2 Turbo's, Si's, CTR's, ITR's, GSR's and Crower 62404's on a non-vtec setup. The Skunk2 Turbo's were horrible. The Si's are what they are. The CTR and ITR's made the most power. And the GSR's were great if you didnt have access and/or money to CTR/ITR cams. On our EG I am going to try out a set of Mazworx V1 cams. Maybe do a comparison between them and the CTR's that are in the Integra

Sorry, didn't make that very clear. I like the CTRs better. I think I need to flow more air to notice large power gains sometimes seen from swapping in CTR cams for GSR cams. With the CTR cams the car feels quicker, revs quicker, and builds boost quicker.

aren't the 00-01 ITR and CTR cams the same thing??

Also, aren't the changes between the 97-99 and the 00-01 cams marginally different for turbo setups??
