Default Cams and JRSC

I have a freind who has some CTR cams he desperately needs to get rid of for cheap, which is good. However, I was planning on getting a JRSC and don't know if the two will compliment each other or if they will hurt performance? ANy input would be great. Thanks

Stick with stock cams, especially if you have stock GSR cams....with the CTR cams, they will cause too much boost pressure lost because of overlap and duration... more air being forced out of the combustion chamber.... and actual loss of power...

I may be wrong, but I think i am right...

yup what he said. I have heard of some good power gains with a type-r exhaust cam and cam gears tuned on the dyno made 10whp
