two problems
Okay, the first problem I had was that my batt light came on while I was hard driving on the highway. It's an h22a and pretty much an fmax setup. The dumptube on my wastegate is a few inches away from my alternator and it's a short pipe so it may be releasing the gasses too close. Could too much heat cause the batt light to come on?
Second Q is that while driving, once the light came on, the clutch all of a sudden hit rock bottom, and I couldn't even step on it cuz i at was right to the floor and it wouldn't come back up. I was in 5th gear at a pretty high speed and it just wouldn't spring back up, until I put my foot under it and pulled it back up and then all was well again. I havea hydrolic clutch and ther was plenty of fluid when I stopped and checked but I'm baffled at why it would do this. I'm also wondering if these two misshaps are related

This happened to me also on a 100mph+ joyride. ended up being that i broke my alternator belt. easy $10 fix. no idea on the 2nd question.

well, my belt is still working and still attached and it only did it under heavy driving and heavy acceleration. It's baffling the **** outta me!! haha
you have air in your clutch fluid now...probably boiled it if you are blowing exhaust on it or if dp is touching/really close to the bleeder valve. bleed while adding new fluid. happened to me while testing mine out running open dp. alternator could be overheating and causing to run inefficiently.
