Cam gears+30 lbs question
Right now on our hatch we have stock GSR cam gears.
we're running 30 lbs. fully built motor, twin disk clutch and what not.
i ahve a couple questions.
1- What significant difference did you see by getting aftermarket cam gears+ tuning them with your 30 LB setup?
2-On a scale from 1-10, how important are they?
thanks guys

I do know that if you buy aftermarket cam gears, and don't know what your doing you can lose a lot of HP. So my guess would be a few extra ponies with someone that knows what there doing.

From stock GSR cams to some aftermarket ones you will gain a SHITLOAD OF HP.
Cam gears on stock cams probably won't yield much if you ask me. Buy some ITR cams, Skunk stage 2 cams or some pro stage 2 cams, go big, leave gears at 0,0. Guarntee to make more power, if you still need more power then adjust gears but becareful.
