Calling all Holset HX52 users
Looking for info on all your HX52 setups.
Would like to see info like how many blades on your wheels (compressor and turbine)
How big is your compressor wheel?
How big is your exhaust housing?
What kind of engine setup, how much boost, and dyno graphs if you have them.
Just want to gather info as there is such a wide variety of specs on this particular turbo and everyone in their build threads just typically say they have a hx52.
There is a tonne of info on them in the dsm world but very little collected here. Would like to see how they are preforming on our cars.

There's already an entire thread dedicated to Holset users.

Yeah and this thread is specifically for HX52's. Try finding anything in 150 pages of the holset users unite thread... It would take days just to find a couple guys saying they have a hx52 but no other details. I'm looking for specifics on the turbo itself like wheel size, blade count, housing size, etc, etc, etc...
If its the information you need, that's fine, I can supply what's typical of that turbocharger and even links to it, but i'll be VERY honest here. You might as well play the lottery the same day you find 2 people that have used the HX52 for its particular purpose on the Honda forums.
Because the DSM crowd can take advantage of the BEP housing that can hold the same size wheel that the HX52 uses (or have it machined), it is the chief reason why they utilize them so much, while the Honda crowd can pick a variety of turbochargers that have the same airflow rate, similar characteristics, and similar price as the HX52 in universal housings.
But, it will be interesting if people do come forward.. I'm just not holding my breath for the reasons stated above.
