Oh dumbass, I DO read! I have read about every worth-while post that has came through the Prelude forum! How about yourself?
In that post, there was JZ and D98clturbo that claimed to have ran forged pistons in a stock block. JZ ran his for a few thousand miles, then sold the car. Shortly after the kid got his old car, it started burning oil really bad. They pulled the head and the cylinder walls were scarred to hell.
D98clturbo simply made a claim and gave his mileage. That's it. He never gave any more information, he never posted any pics, nothing. He even admitted that although it was still running, he never pulled the head to check for scarring. He may be telling the truth, but I do not believe him, and the information he provided is not enough to believe him over the internet.
So who ELSE has ran these pistons?

look ********, i'm just simply stating that there are people running this setup seccessfully. i know jerune (d98clturbo), and although i cant put every single thing u want to see down on paper for u to shut the **** up, i do know his setup, and i know he's using wiseco pistons in a stock block, he's been boosting for over 22000 miles which was a few months ago well. i also have a friend where i live that is running wisco 11.25 c/r pistons in his stock block also, and he's been runnin that for 15000 miles now, but he's NA not FI. but its still a stock block with forged pistons. and sir, if u do know so much about those setups, u would know that its not the pistons that cause the damage, its the rings, if its ur pistons causeing damage, that means there's clearance issues, because the pistons should not be coming in contack with the walls right? go give je or whichever other pistons company u want to and tell them u want to use their pistons in a stock block h22a, they'll tell u to use wisco rings with them. dont believe me go give it a try. after u go do all that, please go get urself lost in a cow **** ********.

well according to wiseco in order to get these to work this is what u have to do...
"2. FRM bores must be “touch honed” with special SunnenTM tooling per their recommendations."
ps. i'd still sleeve it. why leave a weak spot in your engine to blow later then have to sleeve and replace the pistons later. just crack the engine open once and build the whole thing.
