California question
I've done some research.. and im still unsure what I want to do.. I currently have a 98 integra GS.. basically, is it even remotely possible to attain any numbers close to 200whp? (hell ill take less, just the more the better heh) and remain 100% smog/carb legal?
i have looked at options such as a greddy turbo, or jrsc.. but still put me far too far from any numbers that i can deem good.. =/ i read some where that lsvtec engines arent legal due to headwork in california being illegal. that rules that out (what i was gonna do..)
so any opinions/advice are greatly appreciated.

This is the best answer. On smog day just take out your front mount, and have a pipe straight from turbo to TB.

Re: California question (guymosiris)
There are a few large turbos out there that have internal wastegates (which makes the greddy kit legal) just upgrade the turbo and you'll probably pass visual.

Re: California question (MiraiZ)
then essentially if you have a closed loop external wastegate setup...and a closed loop bov setup then they really can't say anything.....but this is CA we're talking about

I have the same question as well. Also, won't they see that the car would be running the incorrect ECU when they try to hook up the OBD II diagnostics...

true...I don't know what you will have to do. just got to finda a crooked smog shop.
...and yeah, you can upgrade the turbo with internal wastegates, or buy the fake greddy carb sticker like me.
