Default Calibrating AEM UEGO

I thought I had my UEGO wideband sensor calibrated, but my EMS was displaying an AFR of 10:1 on my laptop and I was hearing detonation under boost. Before I took the car out, I adjusted the gain to 0.80 so the volts read 4. My timing is retarded .75* per pould of boost. This is in a built LS motor with 9.8:1 JE Flat Top pistons. Should I take out more timing? Or did I calibrate my EMS UEGO wrong?

Thanks,
Tim

they had specific instructions on the AEM's website, did u follow those?

next, did you calibrate the actual ign timing at the crank pully w/ the aem unit?

u may think ur only running 20 degrees of timing and u may be running like 27

So you have 4.0v at the orange wire with the sensor unpluged??? If you don't, you most likely have a ground problem. What ground are you using for the uego? Sounds like either haven't selected the aem uego from the wizard or you didn't calibrate the voltages using o2#1 gain

I'm using the battery as ground, and the aem uego is selected from the wizard.

Which part of the sensor needs to be unplugged?
